Style Icon: Giovanna Battaglia

 

Last time I've talked about Victoria Beckham, today I will introuduce you to an italian Style Icon: Giovanna Battaglia, ex model, Fashion Director of Vogue Gioiello and Vogue Pelle and freelance stylist. Her style is always original but elegant, she often plays with smart combinations of patterns and colours, she knows how to risk and the result is always brilliant. Casual Polka Dots

Hi sweeties! How's life? I'm really busy with university so I can't update the blog as much as I would like to. Today I want to show you some pictures of a Sunday casual outfit; on Saturday I wore I pair of really uncomfortable wedges and I got a really painful blister, that's because the day after I decided to wear my new pair of Converse. I'm not a " sneakers " person at all but I needed a pair of sporty, casual, white shoes and so I've chosen the Converse even if I wasn't so convinced; I have to admit that I really like how they look on me!
Finally I could wear again my lovely studded leather jacket and then I've opted for an adorable polka dots ( great season trend! ) light sweater that makes my sporty outfit a little bit more feminine.
I'd like to know what you think of this look :)

Rock the Trend: Statement Necklace

Hi sweeties! Last time I've helped with your neon shopping, today we're dealing with Statement Necklaces; as always I've selected some expensive items and a lot of inexpensive ones.
The most important thing to remeber when you use a statement necklace is to pair it with a plain outfit and no other jewellery if possible ( or stud earrings at maximum ), because you don't want to look exaggerated or ridiculous!

Buonasera! La volta precedente vi ho aiutato con lo shopping neon, oggi ci occupiamo delle famose collane Statement, quindi grandi e vistose; come al solito ho selezionato alcuni articoli più costosi e molti altri davvero economici.

La cosa più importante da ricordare quando decidete di indossare una collana così importante è di rimanere semplici con l'abbigliamento e se è possibile di non indossare altri gioielli (al massimo degli orecchini a bottone ) perchè naturalmente non vogliamo risultare esagerati o addirittura ridicoli.

Red by the Sea

Hello lovelies! How are you? Two days ago I turned 21, I'm becoming older :) I bet you thought I was like 5 years younger, yes I know, I look like I'm 15, but who cares? At 40 years old, people will think that I'm 20!  I haven't celebrated my birthday yet, I'll do it on Sunday with all my dear relatives and my boyfriend, I can't wait, I really love my family!
However, in this post I want to show you a casual outfit for a walk on the beach; I know, sea and beach are a constant on my blog, but living in Sicily means seaside all year long :)
Actually I wasn't sure of publishing these pictures, they don't pay homage to my outfit which can look not so harmonious, I assure you that it's nicer than it seems :) But I want your opinions of course, what do you think of pairing red, black and denim together?
