Hi lovelies! Quick post to show you what I wore last Saturday; I've decided to play with all nude shades and finally I could wear lighter clothes! However it's not so warm yet so I paired my light blue shirt with a beige jumper from H&M and a brown leather jacket. Do you remember my taupe shoes? I wore them for a walk around the lake! I'm pretty happy of the result, what do you think?

Style Icon: Victoria Beckham

New episode of  my "Style Icon" series, after Miroslava Duma, Uliana Sergeenko and Christine Centenera, today we're concentrating on Victoria Beckham, ex Posh Spice, fashion designer, mom of 4 children and of course, lucky David Beckham's wife! ( who does not envy her?? )
You all know who she is so I'm not spending words on her life and career, but let's turn our attention to her style; what makes her a style icon? Yes, I'm not talking about her years with Spice Girls, she was really young but we can't deny that in the recent years she has shown a real change. Classy, elegant, always appropriate and never ridiculous; high heels all the time, bon ton bandage dresses and skirts. The result is always very clean, smart and sexy at the same time. Don't you think so?
And what about her great collection of Birkin bags? 
Moreover,  not only she inspired the entire world with her bon ton style but also with her always perfect and trendy hair styles, do your remember her super famous bob hair cut? Everyone wanted to have their hair cut like that ( yes, me included ).

Rock the Trend: Peplum

Last time I've introduced you to Tangerine Tango, today I want to talk about the Peplum Trend! What is it? A peplum is an overskirt attached to the waistline of a dress, a skirt or a jacket which was born in 1940s and became very popular during the 80s. Designers have proposed again this trend on Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter catwalks and celebrities and bloggers have been rocking it with a lot of enthusiasm. The most popular question is if anyone can wear it, the answer is not really easy; This overskirt is ideal for women with a more masculine body shape who want to enhance hips and give the illusion of being an hourglass shape. It's not really flattering on really curvy women because it can overemphasize hips, but choosing a black peplum can solve the problem because as you know, black has the power to slim the silhouette. You just have to try on, don't buy any peplum item if you're unsure or if you know that you probably won't wear it, it's a waste of money; You have to be confident with what you're wearing, the biggest mistake is buying stuff because is trendy at the moment, you will accumulate things you don't really need, plus you don't want to feel uncomfortable only because you want to follow fashion trends :)

Rock the Trend: Tangerine Tango

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about a 2012 colour trend; I'm sure you have already read everywhere about "Tangerine Tango". If you don't know anything about it I'm here to explain you something! This year Pantone has chosen Tangerine Tango as the colour of the year, which is a a bright orange that turns on the red side, perfect for spring and summer, great to brighten up these grey Winter days. Designers have proposed tangerine accessories, shoes and clothing items of every shape and type; don't worry, there are a lot of cheap alternatives! It's perfect to mix with other bright colours ( without exaggerating ) or with a clean and candid white. If you want, you can also opt for a tangerine nail polish, lipstick or eye shadow; Are you ready for a bubbly tangerine 2012??
