Style Icon: Christine Centenera

Last time I introduced to you one petite but great fashion icon: Miroslava Duma; This time I want to talk about another great icon, her name is Christine Centenera. She's the fashion editor for Harper's Bazaar Australia and she sometimes freelances as a stylist.

Her style is very sophisticated and elegant, never excessive or ridiculous. She loves leather, studs and metal details and she wear always particular heels; she says that because of her high instep she can't wear flats. Is it just an excuse? We trust her :)

Tanned skin, straight hair and smokey eyes, not only she has a great style she's also a really nice girl!

What do you think about her? I find her magnetic!

Sparkly News: What's inside you FW11-12

Hi world! Sparkly News for you today! This morning I came across this amazing "What's inside you" FW11-12 collection designed by the gorgeous Eleonora Carisi of Jou Jou Villeroy. Actually not only I'm really impressed by this collection but also by the name of the brand! Yes, because fashion for me is a way of  expressing what's inside us without talking, so isn't it a perfect name for such a nice brand?

This is a feminime, romantic but still sensual collection for women who know what they want and women that are brave enough to show who they are and what's inside them! It's all made in Italy of course, so high quality and unique pieces! Personally I fell in love with that burgundy lace dress, I would wear it for Christmas Eve Night! And what about that romantic blue maxi dress? ( the last one ) I would surely wear it with my new grey faux fur jacket! But stop daydreaming about how I would style every single piece of this collection! Now it's time to show you what I'm writing about!

Rock the Trend: Do you want a sparkly dress?

Hi world! Some days ago I posted an inspiration post about sparkly dresses on the Red Carpet, a lot of you commented positevely so I thought to create a Rock The Trend post with some of my suggestions :)

As usual I created two collages with a selection of high end and low cost alternatives.

But how to wear them? I suggest you to wear plain and simple accessories beacause with such dresses it' s easy to mess up! So, if you wear a sparkly dress, make sure you don't wear any other sparkly pieces! Moreover,  I wouldn't wear any jewelries beacuse the dress itself is a piece of jewellery! 

Of course I would wear a sparkly dress only for the night time, and if you have long hair you can try a nice simple updo; if you want to wear your sparkly dress for a disco night you can try a crazy, sexy, teased updo! ( You can find a lot of tutorials on Youtube )

But the best part is that you can share your creations with a huge community of fashionistas like you! So you can also "like" and "comment" the creations of the other people that you can follow too! Creating an account on POLYVORE it's super simple, you just need to go to website homepage and follow the instructions! Easy Peasy! :)
